Spaghetti with lentil Bolognese
Nowadays we can find vegan alternatives to mostly every food and dish there is but they are not always health-promoting. This is a healthy plant-based alternative to the famous Italian meat-based pasta dish. It's tasty, filling, and nutritious. Packed with plant protein and fiber. Perfect for anyone on a budget. The sauce is delicious on its own!
- Combine all ingredients except spaghetti in a large pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low-medium and simmer for about 30 to 40 minutes or until lentils are soft. Stir every once in a while.
- Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti following the package instructions.
- Serve lentil Bolognese sauce on top of spaghetti and enjoy!
