Easy chickpea salad

Chickpeas are a good source of fiber, protein and iron among many others. Also, they are very filling and full of phytonutrients.


  1. To make the dressing, mix the lime juice with the balsamic vinegar. Mix well.
  2. Add all the ingredients for the salad and finally the dressing and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and serve.


If you like to add oil to your dressing, I recommend you add sliced kalamama olives to the salad instead of oil. Thus, other than the fat you also get the fiber and other nutrients from the olive.

You can replace the chickpeas with any other legume.
