At Y Nut we do not believe in diets but in the power of a lifestyle that we can start, maintain and, most importantly, enjoy for the rest of our lives.

The food we choose to eat every day is one of the most important decisions we make for our health. 

However, in the world that we live in, eating healthy can be a challenge. Busy lifestyles, old habits, social events, temptations, myths, and many other factors affect our food choices. We get that!

Moderation and balance are two words that are commonly used when we talk about healthy eating. The problem is that these two concepts are very abstract and the reality is that, for most people, they do NOT work. The proof is that worldwide obesity has more than doubled since 1980 (1) and cardiovascular disease, which is preventable and treatable through nutrition and other lifestyle factors, remains the number one cause of death globally (2).

At Y Nut we believe it is important to start spreading another message!

We are convinced that to achieve optimal health and well-being through nutrition, we have to create new health-promoting habits that we enjoy and make us feel good. 

That being said, we know that changing the way we eat is not easy. It is a personal journey, where there is no failing or perfecting but rather learning and improving.
