Why virtual and how does it work?

Meet from the comfort of your home or anywhere you want. We understand that most people have busy schedules and making it to the dietitan's office may not always be an option.

We provide a HIPAA certified telehealth mobile app and online platform to have a virtual face-to-face appointment no matter where you are. It's easy and convenient. This allows us to meet before or after dinner, or even on the weekends.

Please, contact me if you have questions and/or concerns.

Do we accept insurance?

At this time we do not accept payment through private insurance coverage, Medicare, or Medicaid. We can provide a Superbill which may be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement. The insurance provider may or may not reimburse for the nutrition services. It is you responsibility to request and collect reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance provider prior to the first appointment to determine if nutrition counseling is covered in your plan.

"I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist and do not dispense medical advice nor prescribe treatment. Rather, I provide nutrition counseling to enhance my clients’ knowledge of nutrition and health and empower them to take responsibility for self-care. While nutrition counseling can be an indispensable complement to my clients’ medical care, is not a substitute for the diagnosis, treatment, and care of a disease by a medical provider. Clients should seek the supervision of their physicians when modifying or changing their diets. My services are intended to develop an appropriate and personalized nutrition care plan for each client and monitor their progress in achieving their nutrition and health goals" - Marta Ferraz Valles, MA, RDN, LD
